Examination and Schedule

The Council is committed to offering a valid and reliable examination and has worked with the expert consultation of Meaningful Measurements, Inc (MMI)and the counsel of experienced Relocation Specialists and Move Managers since January 2006.

The multiple-choice exam is currently a paper pencil test, and will be electronically administered in 2009.

All  individuals who meet eligibility requirements and pass the examination are credentialed and acknowledged by the Council as a CRTS (Certified Relocation and Transition SpecialistTM). In order to maintain the CRTS designation and participate in the CRTS Registry, specialists must apply for renewal and document continuing education. The CRTS Examination is offered during selected CRTS Training Programs (see CRTS Registration and Schedule) and also prior to the annual AAHSA, NAPO and NASMM conferences.

For those individuals who meet appropriate experience and education requirements, additional training is not required prior to examination.
