SRTS NEWS

Who is helping my mom and dad?

Our mission is to make sure your parents are receiving professional, qualified support.

The SENIOR TRANSITION SOCIETY COUNCIL was originally founded in 2004. SRTS is dedicated to the idea that all senior service providers must meet a minimum standard of education and professional training to better understand obstacles, opportunities and challenges of senior clients and their adult children as they experience later life transitions and undergo changes in their home environment.

Mission

The SENIOR TRANSITION SOCIETY (SRTS) maintains a core purpose to recognize and support qualified professional resources and to provide a standard of service for older adults and their children as they seek assistance with late life home transitions.

Vision

The SENIOR TRANSITION SOCIETY is a collective force of credentialed service professionals, including the 500+ member of the Certified Relocation and Transition Specialist (CRTS) Registry.

Our Council members seek to be leading advocates for professional services for senior adults and to provide a secure resource for  families and caregivers. The Council recognizes many proficient providers in many areas of expertise and provides dedicated oversight for the Certified Relocation and Transition Specialist (CRTS)  designation.

Our Council  is committed to establishing and upholding service standards for the mature markets, including ethics, business practices, education and legislation.

The Council recognizes and supports partner associations and aging services organizations in a cooperative commitment to professionalism, education and information related to senior services.
